Boston Caribbean Fashion Week starts TOMORROW! Farenheight TV had the exclusive chance to talk with the crew behind this epic production!

In our first episode of our summer series, "Summer in the City" we had the blessing to sit and chat with the beautiful souls behind The Boston Caribbean Fashion Week(BCFW) happening in our city August 9th-13th! Founder and Executive Director, Althea Blackford, discussed the history behind creating this multicultural fashion show and her mission to really put the spotlight on talented designers and artists in New England.

Althea is also a fellow BNN producer of Style It Up, a weekly fashion television show that highlights the fashion scene in the New England area. #blackgirlmagic

Her wonderful crew talked about what they loved about fashion and producing a show, their Caribbean background and their excitement for busy fun week ahead.

Designer Janae Williams of Janae Couture, a senior at Mass College of Art & Design, also joined us on the show to talk about her involvement in BCFW, what inspires her as a fashion designer and showed us a sample of her fierce and edgy collection worn by the beautiful BCFW '17 Spokesmodels, Samantha Gottlich and Rennea Lawren.
